At Dublin Lesbian Line we had created a webinar series aimed at LGBT+ women* to engage and connect with the community during the Covid-19 pandemic. We knew that mental health and resilience was a topic that we wanted to cover. Gillian delivered a workshop on resilience and self care for us. It was a pleasure working with Gillian who was so open, friendly and easy to work with. We received really positive feedback from our viewers who found Gillian’s presentation and self care tips really helpful and relatable. It’s so important for us to have LGBT friendly therapists like Gillian who we can recommend to the community.

Philippa delivered a truly engaging presentation to our team. Her authentic and natural style meant that us, as an audience were truly invested in the subject matter and eager to learn more. Her personal stories, delivered with humour and warmth, really added a genuineness and accessibility to the session. The information received was extremely useful and will help inform our approach to clients who come to us seeking support. We look forward to welcoming Philippa back in the future.

Gillian was a keynote speaker at one of our forums during COVID-19. Her knowledge and expertise in the field of diversity in the work place was immense but also refreshing as she’s not a follower of the status-quo but rather welcomes the discussion on how we can continue to make improvements. I would highly recommend her in both a training and speaker capacity.

The workshop on Resilience and Change Management was really insightful and needed I feel.

It definitely helped re-ground my thoughts as it has been a rollercoaster the past few months with Covid19. Dermot was lovely and so gently spoken and Gillian was full of knowledge and clearly knows her stuff.

Last October I had the good fortune to meet Gillian Fagan and Philippa Ryder from Under the Rainbow. Thanks to the PTSB PRISM committee, Gillian and Philippa hosted a Transgender Awareness talk in Cork for staff. They made a lasting impression on me and I have so much to thank them for. They took the mystery from the labels and made it safe for everyone in the room to ask questions. They helped us continue the conversations we started a few months earlier during PRIDE week. They are a force to be reckoned with and I hope we’ll be able to host other events in conjunction with Under the Rainbow in the future.

The workshop presented by Gillian and Dermot was a toolkit for diversity for SMEs.  It was a superb workshop with great delivery. I learned so much from it and while I consider myself openminded, it further opened my mind. I couldn’t recommend Under The Rainbow high enough, if you have staff you need to bring them into your organisation as diversity is something we all need to keep in mind.  Their training was brilliant.

PRISM found Philippa to be an extremely personable and dynamic woman with an incredible story to tell that people from all walks of life can benefit from.
Those who attended the event found it to be, honest, inclusive and incredibly informative.

It’s great when you have training, and the attendees either don’t want to leave and/or want more of the subject matter, huge thanks to ‘Under the Rainbow’ to for conveying this knowledge in such a honest and transparent manner

We were delighted to welcome Under the Rainbow to the National Museum of Ireland for this LGBTQI+ workshop before the launch of our Rainbow Revolution exhibition. This training was comprehensive, thought-provoking and practical. The trainers provided their own personal stories, and this shaped the tone and focus of the training, so everyone knew what they had been through and how this could help the group. Based on feedback I know staff felt a lot more confident and knowledgeable in this area than they had before. There is also an immediate interest in taking part again. I found this training experience immensely positive, despite the very harsh subject matters dealt with at times.
